About Us

The Open Source Arms Library is a weapons database that tracks Israeli-used arms. We curate publicly available information to expose the inner workings of the U.S. war machine so that we may impede acts of genocide that are committed with U.S.-made weapons.

A group of New Mexicans created the Open Source Arms Library, OSAL, to research this information and reimagine our relationship with the military hub where we live. Now that we have created profiles of individual weapons, we encourage others to join in this research and use it to progress the boycott, divestment sanction movement.

We are currently focused on researching U.S. American-made weapons that are used on to destroy Palestinian life, society and infrastructure in Gaza and The West Bank.
Those of us that live and work in the U.S. are complicit members of the U.S. American and Zionist War machines, and the ongoing Palestinian Genocide. It is our tax dollars that provide military aid packages to Israel,  which then buys weapon systems from US manufacturing firms. It is our labor which maintains the infrastructure that produces these weapons. It is our friends, family, neighbors and countrymen that populate the facilities.

It is our ignorance of these systems that allows these weapons to be quietly and effectively manufactured in our cities, towns, and neighborhoods.

Let's change this together. Know your local bomb maker.
